You will be taught the foundations of how to decorate your very own professional looking cake. We will focus on mastering basic skills and the proper technique in cake decorating, including:
How to properly fill and use a piping bag with a coupler
Filling your cake and crumb coating with a buttercream icing.
Applying a second coat for a beautifully smooth finish as a canvas for your decorations
Instruction on several piping techniques using multiple piping tips. Techniques include ruffles, rosettes, shells, stars, zigzags & ribbons
You will then apply the techniques to your own cake to create a masterpiece of your choosing.
A portfolio of suggested decorations will be provided as a starting point to give ideas for your cake, but your imagination is the limit with your newly acquired skills. This class is $125 per person.
